i wanted to see how 2 of my supposedly-philippine-colonial-period-designs wud match:

Felisa (left) -- [link]
Señora Urbana (right) -- [link]

changed some bits, added more detail

this is my take of the characters in the book: 'Pagsusulatan Nang Dalauang Binibini Na Si Urbana at Felisa' by Fr. Modesto Castro. i really want to make a story out of these two characters i made. so far i came up with the names, and what they basically do. instead of sending letters to talk about manners and conduct (which what the book is about, actually), they'll be sending info to each other that they can use to infiltrate the higher-ups, not to topple the government but to catch (or kill) those who are waaaay too corrupt. felisa will spy the ranks of soldiers while urbana will do the same to the gobernador heneral (which is her father... that gets killed later on :P) and his subordinates. still have to do more research on that :XD:

perspective got messed up *points at felisa's right arm* practice! practice! :D

Prettty~~~
I admit...something about Felisia puts me off o.o I think it's her sword hand...the pose is jsut really awkward :'D
Urbana is pure love though XDXD

SASUNARU IS LOVE~!!!
:iconminsan:
They look great, though I dont really see the colonial traditional dress of the Filipinos. It's still too ragnarocky... just an honest crit. More embroideries and a more familiar cut would help them stand out as period costumes.

wala na akong sig...

Diba dapat "Felisa y Urbana", like in Spanish. Lol.
Anyway this is too cool. Parang may pagka-HTK ung dating :)
:iconpim-s:

Soooooo this is the piece you've been coloring. Neat procedure, (i see HTK-ness over here and there :sherlock: , though i think that's just me).

Gotta agree with Sir jon, i think putting more details on the edges of the white parts would do the pic good. :/
